If the FW works via its USB connector then there might be a problem related to the 4-PIN connection between the FW and qhy294.
Maybe the cable or one of the connectors are broken or there is something disconnected inside of the cam or the FW.
Chan should know ways to verify that.

Sorry to hear that. If the FW indicates 4pin mode and has sufficiant 12V supply and none of the control software is able to communicate I would suspect the FW to be defective, too.
Hopefully your supplier will help.

I have qhy294m with FW cfw3 m-us. FW is connected by the 4 pin option.
Running fine with QHY SDK version 21.3.15 under KStars 3.5.3
There is no fx3load on my system, just /sbin/fxload.
Installation is Rasbian Buster with Astropi3 scripts. The qhy-sdk 20.11.26 has been installed automatically with INDI.

Hi dtex,
my installation is on top of "Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)".
The qhy294m is connected to the first USB3 port of the rpi.
Hi, had the same problem. The cause was too much indexfiles in the path.
Only left the required ones and some of the recommended there. Moved the other ones to a different directory.
Now Stellarsolve can load the index to memory and works very fast.
Finally I can give the promised feedback:
qhy294pro is running with the new 3.5.0.
Made a fresh Astropi3 install on a RPI4 with 4Gig RAM. Now INDI controls the qhy294m and the qhy filterwheel.
Platesolves running with the new internal Stellarsolver very fast.
Thanks to Robert, Jasem, Hy and all the other people spending their knowledge and time to this project

Still trying to get the newest indi drivers without success. Changed to INDI nightly and these are my versions:
stefan@nanopim4:~$ sudo lsb_release -a
[sudo] password for stefan:
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
Release: 18.04
Codename: bionic
stefan@nanopim4:~$ sudo apt-get install indi-full kstars-bleeding gsc
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
gsc is already the newest version (1.3~ubuntu18.04.1).
indi-full is already the newest version (1.8.6~202008211454~ubuntu18.04.1).
kstars-bleeding is already the newest version (6:3.5.0+202008282324~ubuntu18.04.1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Think, that isn't the latest INDI ?

Hi everybody,
I tried to connect the new QHY 294 Mono Pro to Ekos, but while trying to connect a "no QHY cameras found" faliure occurs.
It is recognized by Windows / ASCOM, so the camera is ok. Does it need a new Indi driver for that cam?
Thanks for all the hard work on KStars/Ekos/Indi!
