Hello,
I assume you managed to define the new parking position. Whn you unpark, does the mount returns to the home position (pointing north, to Polaris), or you had to define that in Ekos. If it´s even an option.
Currently finishing my observatory and needing to define a park position with the scope and counterweight bar horiontal, and second position with the scope pointing north and the counterwights down.

Hello,

I´m currently having the same issue!
Did you manage to solve it or there is a solution?

I turned everything off, disconnected the ikarus cable, connected the handset cable to the mount and turned the mount on. I'm not switching between the two with the power on.

Hello folks,

This is my first intervention on the forum, so please, be patient.
I recently acquired a Stellarmate Plus and been practicing with it indoors using my setup.
I own a Skywatcher eq3 pro mount and I've connected it to the SM using the Ikarus cable recommended. I disconnected the handset and connected the SM to the mount with the ikarus cable using the port where the handset was connected.
But, since I've used the SM with the mount, I've needed to use the handset again and now the mount does not respond to it.
I connect the mount, the handset turns on, I enter all the information needed and when I press enter, for the mount to slew to the first alignment star, the mount does not move although the handset behaves like she is moving.
Does anyone have experienced this problem, knows how to solve it or have any thoughts about it?
Thanks in advance. Clear skyes!

Hello folks,
First time posting here, so please be patient.
I've acquired a SM+ and been learning how to use it indoors.
I own a SW EQ3 Pro mount and connected to the SM using a Ikarus Eqmod cable.
I disconnected the handset from the control box of the mount and the connected the ikarus cable to it using the port where the handset was connected. So far, everything OK. I can operate the mount with the SM and still learning.
But I needed to connect the handset to the mount and disconnect the ikarus eqmod cable and connect the handset.
The handset turns on and works, but when I try to tell the mount to slew to the first alignment star, the mount does not move and the handset behaves like it is moving.
Is this normal? Has anyone experienced the same issue, knows how to fix it or have some ideas of what could be the problem?
Thanks for the patience and attention.
