That’s encouraging to hear. What OS do you have on the Pi, Astroberry, Buster? Do you use with Ekos?

Also is there any way to connect the RPi to my Windows PC to use the imaging apps I used in the past like TheSkyX?

I am new to this forum and Raspberry Pi and am in need of some sage advice.  I have a rather basic question that I am sure some of the more expert members could answer…here goes..

I just purchased a Raspberry Pi 4 8 Gb and thought I could try to use it as a way to astro image in my observatory.I am new to the RPi4 also.
I presently use a Windows 10 PC to do astrophotography but it’s rear usb3 ports are too far away from the scope to reliably connect using a max 3 meter usb extension. I was considering a Pegasus Powerbox for its USB but but it’s rather pricey.   I’d like to use the RPi 4 on the scope if possible. That would be a great alternative if I could figure out how to configure such a setup.
Can I use the RaspberryPii with its built in usb 3 to image with my usb3 qhy 268c camera perhaps through my windows pc? Can the RPi be used stand alone? Or, does it need to transfer something to my Windows PC?
Sorry for the simple minded question.
Would certainly appreciate different solutions.

Had Astroberry running fine on my RPi 4 and suddenly it no longer boots up when i insert the Astrobery SD after playing with a few other OSs . Perhaps I did something I did not realize might impact the booting.
Raspberry Pi Buster rns fine and boots fine.
Here are the things I tried:

I reformatted a new SD card and burned a new Astroberry image still with same result, hangs during boot.
I also updated the bootloader to July 2021, still same boot hangs.

This only happens with Astroberry, all other SD cards with other OS run fine.
Can someone help me diagnose the issue?

I am very new to Linux and the Raspberry Pi 4 which I just purchased  and set up to run Astroberry.
I am having a problem automatically connecting to my higher speed 5 GHz connection using Astroberry.
The RPi Astroberry always defaults to the 2.4GHz connection at reboot. I have to constantly reset the WiFi country code to my country, US, every time I boot and then I can connect to my 5GHz WiFi connection with no issue.

Is there any way to have the WiFi country code remain set after reboot?

Is this an issue with other users too that can be addressed in a subsequent Astroberry release, or is it unique to my system?
In any response please remember that I am very new to Linux and its command language.
Thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

Jim
