Hi Kurt - many thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. Presently I have 'bodged' a half way fix, by using Parallels running Windows running Sharpcap. But of course this doesn't provide guiding support.

I'm still struggling to get the SVbony working in Ubuntu with Kstars..
