I need help please!
My laptop is running Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS (Focal Fossa). I started installing EKOS Kstars as written in the instructions on the official website:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mutlaqja/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install indi-full kstars-bleeding
Errors were encountered while processing: indi-gphoto indi-full
To do this, you need to select your city in the KStars settings. To do this, run the initial Startup Wizard
Settings --> Startup Wizard.....
After you select your city, the DashBoard will display the correct information.
Yes, it's interesting to try and test. Luckily you don't have to wait for good weather to do it. You can simply run EKOS Kstars at home and connect SA to it and try to control the motion of the RA axis with the GOTO command
Too bad. I tried circuit number 2 to connect my Ioptron SGP. There are no miracles. It is not possible to control the RA axis unfortunately
Interesting solution to connect SA to RPi4 using USB. I need to try it too. I have a similar designed ioptron SGP astrotracker.
I wonder if this combination of connection allows you to control the mount on the RA axis via EKOS Kstars?
I am having exactly the same problem. And I don't know how to fix it either
