Good morning, James, I send you a greeting. You can tell me where you looked at that data from the Park correction in Indi you mentioned. How do I know what version of Indi do I have?

Hello again James, that's what I think, there has to be a driver for Gemini I and another for Gemini 2. For my part there is no problem in helping and collaborating in the recovery of the old INDI driver, I have a mandy G11 with Gemini 1 and work with the software Linux Ubuntu version 20.04.6LTS Fossa Focal. I also work with Linux Mint, but my knowledge of linux is somewhat basic.

Good morning James, I thank you again for your interest and your response. I don't know which version of Indi is in which it works, but it's a version from a year ago. I also don't know how to see the version I currently have, but it has to be from the last ones. I believe that at some point a change was made in the Indi controller for Losmandy, to adapt it to Gemini 2, and for some reason the engines do not act the same, because the displacement to the Home position begins, and in the few seconds shows "Motor Stall Ar." However the Goto scrolls to any part of the sky do them correctly without any error.I'm gonna try to figure out what version of kstars-Indi the parking lot of the telescope works on. A greeting

Good morning Wolfgang, thank you for your answer. I understand that this software that I find great will become without profit and with the little time you have. I personally thank you for your work. For me it is very convenient to work with a single software that implements everything and allows me to work with scheduled and remote sessions. For that reason I started with it last year and with my Losmandy mount G11 with Gemini I, and everything was fine, especially the Park function that is fundamental to end the session with tranquility. However with the snuevas versions of Indi, this function does not go well and is interrupted and yet before parked well and also does with Ascom software. As for the voltage of the meridian, as work with exoplanets and it takes a lot of time to follow, although I start to the East finally crosses the meridian and continues until reaching the limit of the West and fortunately does not collide with the mount.
Other times the mount makes the goto according to Kstars and starts past the meridian, but of course if you have to take almost 5 hours it also reaches the West boundary. In these cases I am thinking of stopping the session and sending the telescope further east, and continuing with the previous work, although if it coincides that the transit of the exoplanet is at that moment ruins the entire session. I stand at your disposal to do whatever tests you tell me, or that you think you should, waiting for the weather to improve as I have everything mounted on column and covered with tarps by rain. Thank you and a greeting

I thank you Magnus for sending me the goto limits that you have on your mount to check with mine if it actually makes the meridian change.

Hello, that's the problem!!! They have introduced modifications for Gemini 2 users and they have annoyed us with Gemini I, of which I have version V. I have repeated on several occasions in the forum that in previous versions of Indi everything works, the park function and I don't know if the flipping was implemented but the mount flipped. Now it doesn't and I sincerely think that the creators of Indi should check it. It's not enough to say that we should go to the losmandy forums because it is NOT the mount, gentlemen, it is the new versions of Indi.

Good morning, I can't find these options you say on Ekos. An inversion of the meridian from a given HR value can be configured in the telescope control tab. Specifically, I have it at 5. But it depends on the configuration of the East and West mount limits, and also the GOTO limit that is not very good as it works. I read in a manual by Michael Herman, that if you don want it to act you must set it to 90, and if it acts on the meridian itself the series configuration is 0.

My particular problem, is that if I am going to observe an exoplanet transit and this past the meridian, if my programming lasts 4 or 5 hours he had or the mount will reach its west boundary without having made an inversion. The solution would be to force an investment to the East looking for another object and hence go back to the exoplanet manually. There is solution for it to be automatically???.

Good morning Magnus, thank you for your quick response. I send you this miá through the English translator so as not to send it in Spanish. I understand what you write to me about the limits of the mount, which I have in 122 and 93 for west and east so that I do not touch the tube in the mount. However, I think you mean the Goto limit, which is as I have configured. If you could send me as you have so you can do the Meridiam Flip I appreciate it or else what would be your recommendation of configuration so that it turns because now it passes through the meridian and the mount continues its course until it reaches its west limit.
Nor does the funion Park, when I give the order from Ekos, it starts up but soon shows me Motor Stall AR, and stops. If I press you again, continue another bit until you show the same error. This would not happen in previous versions, the same thing happens to you. Thank you for your advice. A greeting

Thanks again Alfred for your advice, although I don't understand the shipping costs. I understand that you have ordered the bearings from McMasters because they are cheaper??. I would like to know how much the total cost is since I was thinking of ordering a pair for my AR shaft.
I am also waiting for you to inform us of the improvements in tracking and guiding when you change the bearings and of course advise us to make that change.
