DeepSkyDad flat panel not connecting on Mac was created by W J Drijfhout

The FT1 flatpanel from DeepSkyDad does not connect to its INDI driver on the Mac. The USB port is detected, but the system throws a time-out error when you click the connect button. On Linux all working perfectly fine.
The manufacturer said he can connect to the panel (controlled via an Arduino) with his Mac, but is experiencing the same with connecting to the INDI driver on the Mac.
The driver that is used is the FP1 driver, but this should be the same as the FT1.
Attached a log.
Any idea what could cause this issue?
