Tonight I was using my RST-135 mount for the first time since March.
Also, I was using Stellarmate X on Mele for the first time.
Everything got connected and was looking fine but when it came to the polar alignment it was just weird.
When it did its 30dgr rotation, the scope would face the opposite direction - South.
I tinkered with the setup for an hour - nothing helped.
Replaced SM X with an older RPI4 (which I knew was working fine before) - same problem!

To tell the long story short - I connected the hand controller...
It turned out that the mount switched itself to Virtual Alt/AZ mode instead of Equatorial.
Switched back to Equatorial and everything went to normal.

Go figure... Have no idea why it switched itself to Virtual Alt/AZ.
