Sometimes it is beneficial to guide Dec axis only in one direction - the reason can be significant backlash in Dec axis. So I have disabled Dec South direction on Guide tab. But I was surprised that dithering was not able to finish with this setting. I know that this is working in PHD2, you can disable one Dec direction, but dithering will still work correctly in tahat disabled direction.
I have been imaging last night and observed, that DEC backlash is still a problem for my mount. I have disable DEC guide in South direction (unticked - checkbox). For few expositions it was working good. But once the dithering moved the DEC axis in "wrong" direction, Ekos was not able to return the axis to previous position - probably because disabled south direction corrections. Is it possible to somehow disable guiding corrections in one direction but let dithering still work in both directions?
