Deselecting CFA in WBPP (-> Grayscale) processing goes through to the end. In both options WBPP shows a Warning: ** Skipping unknown 'ColorFilterArray' element. (line=4 offset=3025)
Thank you. Yes this is bug because that element is not child of <Image> element but root <xisf> one. Even thought the specification allows that but even PixInsight doesn't implement spec 100%.
Jasem I pushed fixed version will it propagate or did you version locked it?
I updated all systems and did a daylight test with my ZWO ASI533 MC Pro (OSC):
- selected both Raw16Bit and Raw8Bit - XISF as image format in Ekos and took some frames
- after opening in PixInsight no warning "Unknown 'ColorFilterArray' any longer
- after debayering I got RGB Frames in PI w/o errors
Seems to work now!
I will test it on the stars and report asap as soon as we have CS here.
I also did a quick test with Altair Astro 26c and had no issues opening Color frame in pixinsight. Checked header and Bauer matrix was reported correctly also.
So I managed to get a couple of hours last night on the Pac-Man nebula. All shot with xisf format the only issue I had was the camera restarted due to a timeout mid sequence and the first frame post restart was saved as a fits file. After that it went back to xisf. I have ran WPBB in PI with these files and all debayered without issue.
