Kstars/Ekos crashes randomly was created by Chris Morris

I'm running Kstars/Ekos on a Raspberry Pi3, together with Phd2. However, it crashes randomly, usually when guiding is running.

Any ideas? Is the Pi3 maybe not up to it?

That would be my guess (untested). Have you tried running in Limited Resources mode? or turning off Fits Viewing completely? That (at least in the past) consumed a fair amount of memory.

Thanks Jerry. Where would I find Limited resources mode?

I don't routinely view each image as it comes in on the FITS viewer. Is that what you meant, or is there a 'deeper' way to disable it?

In the Options (button at the lower right of the Ekos window), choose Fits, and you get to turn on Limited Resources mode, or uncheck Use Fits Viewer entirely.
