After updating to 1.60 I can no longer use times longer than 1 second with my ASI174mm. Longer times will make the camera retry 3 times and than a timeout error occurs.
In the profile I have the camera under AUX1 just as I had with 1.54 and use the "ZWO CCD" entry which recognizes the ASI174mm.
Has anybody had a similar experience?
Let me be a bit more specific.
With a longer time (>1s) I see the timer countdown but the image isn't downloaded, instead it tries again (3 times) and then times out.
With a 1 second exposure (or less) the image is downloaded directly after the exposure.....
No clue....
Somewhere earlier in the log file I see this:
Control #9: name (HighSpeedMode), Descp (Is high speed mode:0->No 1->Yes), Min (0), Max (1), Default Value (0), IsAutoSupported (False), isWritale (True) "
Could highspeedmode be the culprit? And what is: Min(0), Max(1)?
Properties in INDI have usually set range which they can get. So min max is range which value can be in. Because it is boolean it is in 0-1 range.
You can try disable hight speed mode in INDI control panel and even bring down USB traffic down to 40. But it can be just bug in ASI driver lib. It would not be first time.
I can't reproduce this with SM OS v1.6.0 using ASI174MC-Cool. Please connect it using a good USB 3.0 cable to SM USB 3.0 port and disconnect everything else. Set bandwidth to 40 if it was a different value.
That was how I ran it. I hope to test with another ASI cam (294 cool) this week.
But just changing the sd card to my 1.54 image makes the ASI work with longer exposures.........
