Unable to capture a frame with kstars remotely connected to Stellarmate on RPi

Hey here,
I hope someone can help me with this. I have Stellarmate on an RPi and use most of the time the Stellarmate Android APP which works like a charm. But I would also love to use Kstars on my local Mac and connect remotely to Stellarmate INDI, everything seems to work but I am unable to capture any images. The interesting part is, that when I capture the images Kstars is notifying me that it was unsuccessful, but when I take a look in the folder the image was created and uploaded successful to my mac. I have no idea what goes wrong, so I hope someone here can help me ;)

Here is the logfile:
[2023-09-07T12:51:09.353 CEST DEBG ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.capture] - Preparing capture job "" for execution.
[2023-09-07T12:51:09.355 CEST INFO ][ org.kde.kstars.ekos.capture] - "Capturing 1,000-second image..."

Thanks

So reading your message, I understand that even though the images get captured you get message that its not done? Does the image pop up in the FITS viewer?

Would be good to see the settings on the Mac for the Ekos Capture tab.

The log indicates aborted capture, so are you sure you're getting images?? This is sequence images or previews?

@AstroMuni: No it doesn't show up in the FITS Viewer afterwards but I have it on my local Mac Drive. But after further investigation i figured out it is a broken image (sorry for the confusion).

@Jasem: The log was from a Previews Session, but also the sequence doesn't work. Btw. I do have 2 cameras and none of then works in kstars (only in the stellarmate app).

Yesterday I got it working for some time (after several restarts of my Pi) and I hoped it is fixed somehow but nope, today the same issue again.

What's also interesting, if I use VPN directly on the RPi and use kstars there, everything works. Could it be some network issues?

Edit: I added the capture tab (I hope this is the information you asked for)

It depend how you configured your MacOS equipment profile. If KStars/INDI and your profile is *already* running remotely on StellarMate, then in your MacOS equipment profile INDI Web Manager must be unchecked. This is because you don't want MacOS to remotely starts a new instance of INDI server when an existing one is running already.

It seems to point to some network connection issue between Mac & Stellarmate. Does it work if your exposure time is reduced to say 5secs?

@Jasem Mutlaq The INDI Server is not running, so kstars (from my MAC) starts it remotely on the RPi (I can see it in the Webmanager). If I uncheck "INDI Web Manager" it won't connect.

@AstroMuni This is also my guess, but all the other equipment works fine

Is there any way to get more details in the logs?

And thanks for your support here

Ok Guys, I seem to have figured out what went wrong. So the images where taken and succesfully transfered. But somehow my local (on my mac) kstars instance messed up with the i/o drivers (local file operations). I always watched the images with GIMP, but when I accidentally tried to open them in kstars it showed up an error message stating "too many io drivers". So I did restart kstars but it still doesn't work, so I (and I normally never do it) restarted my mac and now everything seems to work. What is more interesting is, that I had this issue already last year and it went away without a reboot. But anyway, I think this is more something for the kstar developers and if a simple reboot will fix this issue I am good with it.

So thanks again for your support @AstroMuni and @Jasem Mutlaq
