Trying to get focus, but if I hit the stream button there is quite a bad lag (5-10 seconds) between what I do and what appear on screen. Obviously this makes it extremely hard to focus. Is this standard? The stream box says its getting approximately 11 fps, but I'm seeing more like one frame every two seconds.

This is from a ZWO ASI120, connected via USB3 to a Pi4, then over wifi to my laptop running kstars.

OK, couple of questions:

If you run kstars on the Pi4 and use VNC and/or RDP do you get the same problem?

Is your ASI120 the USB3 or the USB2 version (The ASI120MM/MC-S are USB3 and the non "-S" are USB2)?

If it is the USB2, are you using the "-compatible" firmware (as discussed in the ZWO forum)

WiFi speed will degrade with distance and obstacles between the Access Point and the Client, have you tried using an Ethernet cable?
