I use Linux Mint 20.4 and higher on my PC and Ubuntu MATE on the RPi.
What I wanted to say is that I didn't find any place to declare the guiding camera and guiding optic when guiding in parallel (what I am doing).

Now Astralite only supports simple guiding by main camera (not with separate guiding camera). Read description in first post.

My telescope setup doesn't include guiding camera so I don't plan to make guiding camera support in the near future

Too bad, so I will continue using Ekos but will follow the evolution of your project.

Hi @Denis,
does "Simple guiding" as describe in your post, works with Live Stacking, too?
I'm using 0.0.93 and when I start Live Stacking with "Correct mount position.." enabled it always stops after the first frame.
So it is not possible for me to make a series of frames for Live Stacking.

Hi,
Simple guiding works both with live stacking and tacking frames. After first frame has taken the program should enter mount calibration mode. During this calibration mode program gives standard guiding commands to the mount and see how stars move in frame. For me calibration mode takes about one minute or two.

You can set verbose log level (from options menu) and and try again and upload last log here in forum. To open log folder use "Open logs folder" item in Help menu

I will give it a try when it's possible for me again.
One more question: do I have to stop tracking in EKOS when I want to use Simple Guiding in AstraLite?
My workflow is:
1. GoTo and track objects in KStars/EKOS
2. Start LiveStacking in AstraLite

So to connection to IndiServer are open at the same time.
Is this okay?

Yes, tracking is required and must be on

I'm thinking about how PHD2 and AstraLite can work together. The main problem is AstraLite have to inform PHD2 to stop guiding when AstraLite does dithering and to start guiding when dithering is finished. How to do it?

A quick dig into the kstars code (in phd2.cpp) shows that PHD2 exposes a JSON command interface. This is how kstars interacts with it. github.com/KDE/kstars/blob/master/kstars...ternalguide/phd2.cpp

How works the "Test calibration"?
When I hit the button I see one frame is taken and nothing more happens.
I expected that the mount will be moved in the one or other direction.
Since we have had a cloudy sky for weeks, I tried this indoors with the dust cap on the telescope.

Hi, yes, it moves the mount and calculates stars offset on each move
I see the problem in you screenshot: you mount is parked (and not in tracking state) and can't be moved.
I'll fix the program so that it displays a message that you need to point the mount at the desired part of the sky and turn on tracking if the mount is parked
