Hi,
 I built myself a flip flat following this thread (in french):   www.webastro.net/forums/topic/172634-un-flip-flat-pour-4-sous/

 I’m using it with Ekos with the Alnitak Indi Driver. It works great manually when using it through  the Indi panel ( park/unpark and light). 

But when I tried to integrate it in my workflow with my camera it is not involved. It works only with the CCD simulator. 

Here is the calibration option I used for dark/bias and flats: (see calibration picture attached)

This the test sequence I used :
 1 light 1 s
1 dark 1s
1 flat 1 s
1 light 1

Same observation with a Canon DSL as camera...

Is there something particular to configure a CCD camera?
What I’m doing wrong?

Please format your post, I can't understand what's going on.

Done Sorry for the inconvenience.

I forgot to say : Kstars 3.5.4 on RPI 4 (Raspbian).

I tested this with my actual equipment in the observatory and the only behavior that i saw is that initially even if the dusk cap is parked and the first job is LIGHT, then it does not unpark it. But for any subsequent jobs, it performs correctly (closes on bias/dark/flat and opens on light).

EDIT: I fixed the first job not acting up, but still everything was working fine in principle.

I made further test on my observatory (closer to me now for testing purpose). I was able to use the fliplat with my hardware but only if i add a filter simulator (I user a DSLR without filter) . Otherwise the flipflat is never handled.

I can see in the flipflat indi panel a section about "Snoo...ices" Snooping device ?
 

always set to filter simulator. Does it needs a snooping device to be handled ?
How to set my DSLR as snooping device ?

Does anyone without a filter wheel is able to use a flipflat ?

I just tested here without any filter simulator with light panel simulator and it was toggled on/off appropriately. You just need to make sure to select "Dust cap with built-in light" in calibration.
