It is almost like there should be 2 algorithms at play. First, run an annular/ring detection, reduce that, then switch to the point/star detection.

Why is the Backlash setting greyed out on the Moonlight Nightcrawler? That means I defaulting to a zero setting - or 5 * Initial Step Size.
This focuser has extremely low (I cant see any) backlash, but the default setting in EKOS means I am forced to have 5 * Initial Step Size.
I would like to change that to a lower number than 5.
