Hello Forum,
I am new to the INDI Forum. I am trying and testing my hardware and will learn more about INDI, EKOS & Co. I am very common with astrophotography.

I have connected my ASI120 as camera

ISSUE: if there is a frame which is saturated due a flashlight or a long exposure time or a artificial light EKOS stopps, WHY?
This happens in focus and ccd mode.

I can confirm the issue, but I can't have a look at it within next days due to some work.

What KStars version are you using? This dialog box was in an older version of KStars. Now it simply displays a white image without showing any dialog box.

You'd need 2.3.0 (i.e. kstars-bleeding), but it's not available on Mint since Mint is based on Ubuntu 14.04 and you'd need 14.10+ to run the latest KDE5/KStars. You can get the latest version by using Kubuntu 15.04 with kstars-bleeding package.

OK, if I understand right, I have to reinstall my PC with another Linux Distro to run EKOS without this behavior. I choose Mint 17 LTS because I am not familiar with linux in deep. Shame my trip with INDI will probably end here.

You can always download Ekos Virtual Machine and run it on your Mint 17 LTS under VirtualBox. You'll get the latest stuff while your main machine is as is.
