[solved] EKOS: error while loading shared libraries

I´ve got a nice little fault, running EKOS on a brand new install of kstars, indi and stellarsolver on a Fresh installed OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed.

If I start EKOS, it tells me: driver xxx crashed. I enabled the log and saw errors like:

INDI Server: "2020-10-31T17:03:54: Driver indi_simulator_telescope: indi_simulator_telescope: error while loading shared libraries: libindidriver.so.1: cannot open shared.

This happens with the real drivers and with the simulators, too.

The reason for this error is, that kstars expects to find the shared libraries in /usr/lib64. But I installe kstars, indi and stellarsolver into /usr/local, so the shared libraries are in /usr/local/lib64. If I link the content of /usr/local/lib64 to /usr/lib64, kstars find the shared libraries and all is running without error.

I install kstars, indi and stellarsolver this way: sternenkarten.com/2020/10/11/software-fu...en-furs-kompilieren/

Last time, I know kstars working without these errors: 16.Okt.2020 (fresh install because of a harddisc-crash)

And here is the error-log:

Such a crazy fault!

PC in my observatory, where the fault is present:

I went back in the git-repos to 13.Okt.2020 and compiled and installed all new (indi, indi-3rdparty, stellarsolver, kstars). Same fault! Starting EKOS let the drivers crash. ???

PC in my living-room:

No fault! I can do, what I want, no fault! I deleted the astro-programs and compiled and installed all new: No fault!

What´s the difference between the two PCs?

Living-room: First install Operating system: 16. Okt.2020 (necessary because of a harddisc crash)
observatory: first install Operating system about one or two weeks later

So I guess, this fault is introduced somehow by the OS sometime after the 16.Okt.2020.

"Man muß nachdenken, was man tun kann" (Lausbubengeschichten, Ludwig Thoma) :)

I will test these crazy things with my old laptop next days.

This fault really makes me crazy!

Starting EKOS let the indi drivers crash. the log says:
[2020-10-31T18:03:54.304 CET DEBG ][ org.kde.kstars.indi] - INDI Server: "2020-10-31T17:03:54: Driver indi_simulator_telescope: indi_simulator_telescope: error while loading shared libraries: libindidriver.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

But, all in the sytem looks normal. The libs are installed to /usr/local/lib64. And the runtimepath in kstars is set to /usr/local/lib64:
edgar@Edgar-Desktop:~> objdump -x /usr/local/bin/kstars | grep PATH
  RUNPATH /usr/local/lib64

Should work, but don´t work!

I thougt, Tumbleweed is responsable for this behavior. So I installed openSUSE Leap 15.2. Same fault: EKOS results in a driver crash.

And now I don´t know where I can still look for a solution for this fault.

Any tips?

Looks, like I found a solution in Leap. A had to do a "sudo ldconfig" to actualize the linker-cache. Will try this in Tumbleweed later
