QFocuser INDI Support in Kstars

Just received the new QFocuser High Precision, I rebuilt KStars/Ekos/INDI version 3.6.9 and was going through the focuser section looking to add the new focuser. There was no listing for QHY. So I was inquiring if this is in the works.
Thanks

QHY said they are working on the driver still.

Any news on this topic, where did you find information that QHY is working on it? I'm considering purchasing this focuser, and I would like to be sure that it will work. But I've only found this thread on the entire internet regarding this topic.

I didn't find it in the drivers.xml github.com/indilib/indi/blob/master/drivers.xml#L315

Oh I guess that we will use the indi_qhy_ccd driver to connect to it

It's in indi-3rdparty, not indi-core.

I can see the code in the 3rd party repository. I am hoping that someone can clarify what is the driver name. Should we use indi_qhy_ccd? If you don't know, it is alright. Maybe someone else know.

I would like the developers for working and getting Q-focuser included on the latest build. I did a compile of the latest KStars v3.7beta and there it was and it worked.
Thanks

I can confirm that after compiling KStars version 3.7 on Raspberry Pi 4 with Raspbian, QFocuser works very well.
It's a pity that KStars3.7 is not available in regular repositories and need to be compiled.
I used these scripts for compilation, which made the process much easier: gitea.nouspiro.space/nou/astro-soft-build
