Hiya, I am a new user

in short :
I try to following the YouTube tutor for beginner and find that my Firefox cannot establish a connection to the INDI server

It is a function under : EKos => 1.Select Profile =
Mode : Remote , Host : localhost, port 7624
Guiding : Internal
"ticked" INDI Web Manager
when I tick "Web Manager
Friefox Browser started up but cannot reach the web manager

My system :
1. Raspberry Pi4B with ubuntu server 22.04 and LXDE, KStars, direct EQMOD and ASI1200mm as Guidescope
2. ISP Router with Google Mesh, (port forward not yet set for this RPi4B, do you think I need to set it ?)

Thanks

If you can connect with Ekos, it probably is not a network issue. When I enable the Indi Web Manager, and cllick on "Web Manager", it opens a webpage from my RPi, "stellarmate.local:8624". That page does not show the configuration I have built. It shows only one profile "Simulators". Probably because I have no profiles built on the RPi. I use a client on the computer in the house, where all of my profiles are built.

I'm sorry, I didn't read very carefully. You have "remote", but your Indi server is on localhost. You can't have it both ways. Either select "remote" and enter the name or IP address of your Pi, or select local, put "localhost:7624", and give up using the Web Manager.

I intend to wake up the INDI Web manager and
1. "mode" selected : remote
2. Host : 192.168.xx.yy (IP of my rpi4B-ubuntuServer with KStars/EKos/INDIserver)
3. Port : 7624

unlucky, still not work, and also cannot not be connected.
When I set in local mode, return to normal.

Thanks

You have Kstars and Ekos on the RPi, but do you run Kstars and Ekos from the RPi, or from a separate computer?

INDIWebManager is used to start the INDI server when the INDI server and Kstars are on a different computer.
When Kstars and the INDI server are on the same computer, INDIWebManager is useless because kstars will start the INDI server.

It doesn't matter if you access your system via a VNC connection. Kstars and INDI are still on the same computer, so NO INDIWebManager.
