How do I adjust where the horizon is, in KStars?

I live in New Mexico and have a very flat low horizon. Plus I live at 7,000' (2133 meters).
When I see objects in KStars right on my horizon, they are actually well above it outside.
I have my location set in KStars very accurately.

Wow. Arent you the lucky one :-)
And I may have found an interesting aspect about the artificial horizon too...when I remove the tick mark against 'opaque ground', the artificial horizon disappears !
This is using 3.6.6 stable on MacOs
