I watched the live discussion on you tube last night and wanted to download and try out your Linux based software. But like others I have read about I can't install it with Mint 17.3. The terminal reports that it can't find indi-full etc. As an experiment I tried to do the required downloads using a live version of Mint 18 which seemed to find and download indi-full. A comment I read was that the software would not work with Mint? Is that true for even the newest version 18? Currently I use Windows 7 and Maxim DL and I would love to use Linux.

It would definitely work with Linux Mint 18. There is also a Windows version available for download.
