Bi-monthly release with minor bug fixes and improvements

DBUS tutorial

DBUS tutorial was created by Jasem Mutlaq

I recently added INDI DBUS interface to KStars and wrote a tutorial on how to utilize the dbus interface in python . You need latest libindi and latest kstars-bleeding for this to work :-)

Enjoy!

Very cool!

I'm trying to do something kind of "similar" on my Raspberry Pi. I set up a web app on the Pi using Python / Flask to do some other stuff with my DSLR (via gphoto2).

My question is: Is there a way to access the Focuser API without going through kstars (since kstars is running on my laptop) from my python code on the Pi? Is there somewhere I should be looking to get ramped up on the INDI APIs, or am I just totally barking up the wrong tree? (Just looking for a quick pointer)

Ah, sorry! I found it: A SWIG wrapper for libindi API in Python:

code.google.com/p/pyindi-client/

I think this will get me what I need.
