Should anyone else have similar problems, this is what I did to get it working.

1. Set WiFi country to match your country (Start -> Preferences -> Raspberry Pi Configuration -> Localisation)
2. Change Stellarmate hotspot to use a band B/G 2.4GHz channel (Start -> Preferences -> Advanced Network Configuration -> stellarmate -> settings (wheel/cog icon))
I left the channel as default.
3. Reboot RPi
4. Set 10.250.250.2 as the AZGTi Server IP in INDI
5. Use the SynScan app to configure SSID as "stellarmate", password and fix IP to 10.250.250.2

Ah, yes - I remember. After going back to Astroberry and the WiFi connection working, I changed the Server address in the connection panel.

I assume the Server address and the Fixed IP in the Synscan app have to match.

Hi,
I can't get my AZGTi to work with a connection to the Stellarmate WiFi hotspot (running Stellarmate OS on RPi4).

I had a WiFi connection working with Astroberry. I have changed the station settings in the Synscan app to connect to the Stellarmate hotspot and updated the password.
But the Indi control panel shows:
[INFO] Connecting to 10.42.0.110@11880 ...
but never succeeds.

10.42.0.110 matches the Fixed IP in the Synscan app.

Any suggestions on ways to investigate this? I guess the AZGTi isn't able to connect to the Stellarmate hotspot, but I'm not sure how to debug that.

Thanks,
Jonathan
