I have stellarmate OS on a raspi 4 connected over wifi to w a windows laptop where i run kstars/ekos. The raspi has an explore scientific mount and a qhyccd guide camera.
I have been assuming that i should start phd2 on the pi rather than on windows and in preference to the internal guider -is this correct?

just a random thought: you ould share power between the focuser and dew heater if you chopped the dew heater while focusing. just to save the cord.

To test out polar alignment i set up a profile with my real mount and telescopes and the simulators for ccd and guidescope. When i try to start polar alignment i get a message saying "telescope coordinates missing"
where do i set the coordinates? There's a video where jasem mentions this but i can't make out what he's doing to correct it - it's around 2:52 in the video

Thanks for any help
and there they are! Thanks - i was looking in user/bill but i didn't notice the light folder. I note that the files got prefixed with the most recent target i had slewed to - very nice!

I am running stellarmate OS on a raspberry Pi with kstars/ekos on my windows laptop. In the attached I've specified local storage in c:/Users/bill. I can take images and they come up in the fits viewer but i don't see them in the directory. There's nothing stored on the pi that i can see over vnc either. and they're not on the camera card. Where are they going or what do i do to get them stored somewhere?
I am missing something basic. I have stellarmate working on a Pi 4 with Kstars/Ekos on windows. I can browse the sky on kstars and start ekos, i can manually slew the mount to coordinates and take pictures with primary and guide cameras, but how do i put this together to point the mount at my target?
