I am trying to get a Svbony sv305m to connect to kstars. The installed software is listed below.
I can start kstars and ekos. I configured ekos with the mount simulator and svbony ccd camera. (the dropdown choices are ccd and sv205)
Is the stack below correct? Am I missing some drivers? Am I missing a configuration step?
lsusb shows:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID f266:9a0a SVBONY SVBONY SV305PRO
The error message shows unable to open /dev/video0 no device (how is video 0 created? is it part of the driver or is it part of the linus config?

I was running Fedora 36. I upgraded to FC37 and tried with the stock packages. That identiried a svbony 305 option but failed to find the driver. Posts indicated it was provided by the 3rdparty repository.
I re-enabled those repositories, unloaded the stock kstars, indi packages, and installed the 3rdparty repository packages.
The result was the same - ekos failed to start 'indi driver failed to start ...' I am coming to the conclusion it may actually be the device. I have a few days in the window to return it. If magic does not occur I will go down that path.

Did you try to start the indiserver and driver from the command line e.g. "indiserver -vv indi-sv305"?
There is an other topic on INDI Driver for SVBONY cameras, may be it could help
