ZWO ASI2600MC Pro Duo compatibility

The ZWO ASI2600MC will NOT work on the KStars platform, unfortunately. If you select "ZWO Camera" in the profile - the profile won't start.
If you select "ZWO Camera 1 or 2" - it only detects the autoguider sensor. If you select Zwo Camera 1 and look in the INDI control panel under the camera tab - the "exec" window indicates "asi_single_camera_driver". Thus KStars will only see one of the two cameras.
So, until this is fixed, KStars is incompatible with the ZWO ASI2600MC Pro Duo. I wish this weren't true as I really like KStars but I've had to move on. BTW, N.I.N.A and Voyager (using PHD2) work just fine.

Did you tried to load profile with ZWO Camera 1 and 2. Also if you have this camera can you enable debug logging and post these logs here?

I've stopped using KStars in favor of Voyager. Voyager works without me having to modify or debug anything. KStars is a better all around platform but has too many bugs and problems.

Just to confirm on my side as well, ASI2600MC DUO does not work. Although the last screenshot shows that the guider was online and ready it did not work, it was just "recognised".

Did not take logs last time. If I take the setup out again I may try to add logs as well.

This is my Log using "ZWO Camera 1 and ZWO Camera 2":

And this is my Log only using the ZWO CCD driver:

I hope this will help you troubleshooting.

Got my 2600 Duo, and it works just fine.

Using the latest bleeding version on Ubuntu. Latest GIT INDI and INDI 3rd Party drivers.

No issues at all. The ASI220 also shows up no issues.

Gonna use it tonight in fact.

Yes, camera and guider work well. Ran all night and got this:

Impressed with the Duo, worked well even through an Optolong L-Ultimate filter, however I did have to do 3 second guide exposures.

It has a knob to adjust focus of the guider chip:

Seems to be very solid and works well. Next I will try it with my 10" Meade ACF on a Galaxy and see how it performs with a Long focal length telescope.

Telescope: StellarVue 102 Raptor
Filter - Optolong L-Ultimate
Camera / Guider - ZWO 2600 Duo
Mount - CEM120EC
40 x 200sec exposures

David, you're using old KStars and most likely old INDI. You must update to a more recent build.

Doh!
TIL that my Astroberry was 32Bit - no wonder kstars did not update past 3.6.0.
I just reinstalled raspbian 64Bit and updated everything to the latest revision. I took it out last night to try it out and everything worked flawlessly.

I captured the Elephant Trunk Nebula in SHO, got around 2h of data for each filter (Antlia Ha OIII Dualband + Antlia SII). This is my result:

Pretty happy for the first light. Hoping to have some clear nights to come for further testing.

Gear used:
Raspberry Pi 4 (Raspbian, kstars)
Skywatcher ESPRIT 100ED
0,79x Reducer/Flattener
Skywatcher HEQ 5 Pro (Belt mod)

I had no problems guiding with 2sec exposures, even with the 3nm SII filter. I stayed in the 0.5~0.6" rms error range most of the time.

Are any of you who got KStars to work using Windows11? I've gotten the latest version of KStars, the latest ASI drivers, and latest version of StellarMate and I still cannot get my ASI2600 Duo to work. It's frustrating.
