Ok now I think you are ready to try real equipment!! You have KStars and Ekos running, the indiserver, and the plate solver. That is enough I think. gsc and xplanet won't be of much use for that.
Oh, you will need to get the appropriate index files for your equipment. I would recommend uploading some images you have taken with your stuff to nova.astrometry.net manually and see what solves your images. Then download those index files.
mmmmm not sure I'm able to test on equipment yet.... my version 2 of the remote observatory is still under new development...
I brought everything back from Germany... I will let you know once I' m ready for live tests (in my bedroom,,,,lol).
ok good luck to you, I'm off to work on some other things. Please document all the stuff you did that worked and what didn't work. And play around with KStars and find out what doesn't work.
Agreed, because most people are not this patient. But first, we need to make sure it actually works the way it supposed to work on more than just my own laptop, especially with a system that has Sierra. And then second, we need to figure out HOW to make a dmg with everything ready to go.
