sorry Peter, I was referring to Jasem's comment ----> EDIT: Never mind, I finally traced down the issue and it is fixed. Please try tomorrow again and let us know if that resolves the problem.
Hey Jasem, I just downloaded the OSX March 2 version (Build: 2023-03-02T18:44:58Z) .
So far, no change. It still rotated after the flip on its own.
If you let me know when your updated version is uploaded, I will try again.
Jasem, I started up the latest nightly and ran a 4 panel mosaic, which worked great. The was just a test, and all seemed fine.
Then I moved to a new target, near the Meridian (not using the scheduler at all) and just started taking exposures to watch what would happen during the flip.
It all seemed fine, until I noticed the rotator moving. At that point, I shut down KStars as the wind was starting to get nasty.
I have edited the first hour of this error as it was all testing prior to the flip. I also removed all the shut down text.
Ok, I tried again tonight and it worked. That is, it flipped without rotating. I don’t know what happened last night. Odd.
I can see reasons to want the rotation after a flip and reasons to not want it. There used to be a button option to allow the user to choose. Why did that option go away?
Anyway, it looks like it may be solved, but more testing will verify. Thanks Jasem.
