Leveling requirements for Dobsonian mounts

Hi fine folks.  The topic title sort of tells the whole story.  I've been nosing about re: INDI this evening, and it looks like there are drivers out there to tie a Dobsonian scope into the system.  I just wondered how important precise leveling is for that?  My potential observing locations are fairly flat - one's a patio, for instance - but I'm sure they're not precisely flat - I imagine the patio has a slight slope for water drainage.  when setting up a Dob will I have to measure this, or do the calibration procedures "handle it"?

Thanks very much!

I'm presuming here you'd be using Orion/Skywatcher Dob? It doesn't need to be perfect of course. The system needs to be powered on while the scope is LEVEL with the horizon and pointing north as close as you can. Then turn on power and start using the drivers.
