I don't understand the issue here. I was testing the synscan driver and it seemed to be working on my HEQ5 (Kstars on Mac talking to Kstars on RPi3). I was able to connect and goto correctly.
I've checked my manual and the Synscan hand controller supports guiding via its serial interface. So I thought PHD2 communicating via the synscan indi driver should work, at the very least to get the pointing info. But when trying to setup PHD2 with the indi mount, there is no synscan driver selection. Why is this? The driver is running and I thought PHD2 could talk to any indi mount as long as its driver was running.
It looks like when using the internal guider, that it needs an ST-4 cable. Because in the guiding module it says guide using ZWO CCD and also via ZWO, which I guess means via ZWO CCD ST-4 connect. Is this true? I was hoping it would use the mount pulse guide - and use the pointing info like PHD2.
