This is the second night I've tried to use the new version of SM OS on my RPi.  The older version generally worked fine expect for auto focus issues, which were solved by using the linear process.  I can only recall a couple of KStars crashes in the past and they were several months ago.

Since upgrading, this new version of KStars (3.5.4) has crashed multiple times... usually at sequence startup, meridian flip and shutdown.  Last night, it crashed at shutdown and never parked the scope... thankfully, the mount's software kept the scope from crashing.  For the first time since using StellarMate OS, I'm afraid to run it overnight.

So, I'm looking for a way forward.  Should I go back to the old version?  I figured out a workaround for the focusing.  Should I reburn a new image... which is a pain, but I can certainly do it.  Or is a way to fix this version?

Also, am I alone or are others having success?
