Hello,
For the past few days/nights I tried to use Stellarmate App for Android.
For this I bought a new Galaxy Tab A7 Light from Costco a week ago.
I set everything up and it seemed to be working and doing what it's supposed to do.
But it crashes quite often.
Just closes for no apparent reason.
Sometimes when I click on something, sometimes it just closes when I don't touch anything.
I see on the Facebook's user group that people do use it but for me it's not usable, unfortunately.
Is the app currently underdone a bit or is it my cheap tablet?
(BTW I bought the same tablet from Costco two years ago and returned it because it didn't have a compass sensor. This year's model does have a compass).

Yes, I have a Galaxy tabA with Stellarmate on it and agree the app is a bit flaky. I only use the app to switch wifi networks (hotspot or home network). Even then switching between networks is not always reliable. I sometimes have to restart the app to get it to respond. It's not a serious problem but It would be nice if it worked every time all the time as Kstars/ Ekos does on startup. Just my 2 cents.
