Hi

I was wondering if there is any possibility of connecting 2 cameras in Kstars using a V4L2 / indi wecam driver.
I have a case where I have Arducam UVC adapter connected to Raspberry Pi HQ camera which then connects to RPi 4 through USB. This arducam board seems to give access to all the features of HQ camera including upto 200 sec exposure. For guiding, I have ioptron iGuider which also uses Indi webcam driver.

Is there any way by which I can connect both these together in kstars to have long exposure subs with guiding ?

Thanks!

Thanks rlancaste !
Tried to update FFMPEG, however it was already of latest release. V4L2 was further asking for configurations to be done in EKOS.
Nevertheless, was giving few shots at normal updates since yesterday, and now it somehow detects the webcam with usual INDI Webcam driver.
Maybe, I ran in to those nightly beta releases which was giving trouble.

Cheers !!

Hi,

I have been trying to connect webcam for autoguiding purpose on astroberry.
However, I keep getting below error message.

[INFO] Failed to open source. Check your settings: Inappropriate ioctl for device
[INFO] Attempting to connect
[INFO] Trying to connect to: /dev/video0, on device: video4linux2,v4l2 with 640x480 at 30 frames per second

Am I missing any further configuration which needs to be done?

Thanks!

P.S. - The webcam works fine under Windows environment, hence doubt if there is any hardware issue with it.
