Using Celestron Skyris 132C as autoguiding with Ekos

Hello,

I am working for a friend to see if the Celestron Skyris 132C can be used as a Guiding camera.
My friend is using the Stellarmate OS and is using version 1.5.5. For this I use the DMK CCD driver. I run into two errors.

1 mistake is the limitation that I cannot use more than 1 sec exposure time. At more than 1 sec I get an error message that I have to use less than 1 sec.
I get this message away if I only use 1 sec exposure time.
2nd mistake I don't know what to do with this. The camera works but with every capture it gives the message "Failed switching to manual exposure, control is unavailable".

I have sent two log files and a photo as attachments.

I hope anybody can help us.

Thanks for now.

Hi Kenro, I too have a Skyris 132c which I’d like to use as a secondary camera on Stellarmate Plus. Which is the recommended driver and what port setting?
I’m already using video0 for ipolar in auxiliary
video1 for iguider in guide
Asi183mc pro as primary
Mount is a CEM70g

Thanks in advance, Richard.

IIRC, Skyris has its own driver? or is it using Video4Linux driver?

Thanks Jasem, the Skyris is now up & running in the 2nd auxiliary under the V4L2 and a port setting of /dev/video4
I can now switch primary cameras between the 183mc pro and the 132c.

Thanks again, Richard.
