I encountered some issues over the last few nights related to differential slewing and the align module. The mount is a 10u 1000HPS... model is good. But, when I tried to center up two objects last night I ended up with large errors in pointing (2400 arcseconds in one case). I haven't read the log yet to see if it tried to fix this; but apparently it thought that was acceptable. I think the issue stems from 'trust' during differential slewing. Logs attached with verbose logging for both the mount and the align module. Funny part is, some days it's fine. Appreciate you looking. Sorry for the size of the logs.
Differential slewing is broken indeed: Slewing ends after first iteration and usually the position threshold is not reached! For once it can be that the mount hits the position, as Chris noted, but by the majority of the time it will stay way out of target. I put a
merge request
which corrects the program flow.
(See www.indilib.org/forum/ekos/14052-rotator...-automaticallly.html
too)
The
merge request
which corrects the program flow for differential slewing was integrated into KStars Version 3.6.8 stable. Should be available by now.

I had some fun sheningans with the new focuser... look around 2030CST for the alignment part of it.
Edit (messing around): I turned off the differential slewing option... and it centered it. Any idea on what that does to my mount? Is it corrupting my model? :I
