Success!! was created by Gary McKenzie

Hi,

just wanted to thank all the developers of Indi et al.

I managed to get a Raspberry Pi attached to my scope/ccd/autoguider/mount, connect to it via Indi Web Manager, connect everything, take sample pics, disconnect and remotely shutdown the Pi.

Feeling stoked - I can now pretty much get rid of Windows and concentrate on learning more about Linux Mint. Can now also stay warm on cold nights, and avoid mosquitoes on hot ones.....

Probably not much to experienced users, but to a Linux newbee, quite an achievement.

If only my other ccd a QHY 8 would work :-( nothing seems to get it to connect, whereas my QHY9s connects instantly....

Thanks once again to all those who have put so much work in to this great system..
