Rob, thanks for your answer.
I opened a ticket to the Stellarmate support few months ago, and Jasem was able to fix the issue. He connected to my Raspberry PI and to my Celestron CGEM II via Teamviewer and he add / fix the code. Now, I use my mount via WIFi and tit slew to any object I select in the sky map, so I can sync the mount correctly, and I do not use the hand control any more.
Nevertheless, there is still a detail to be solved, since the remaining time to meridian flip seems to be 12 hours out of phase.

I have similar issue with my Celestron CGEM II, when I manage it through WiFi, but not when I use the hand control. Do you use WiFi or hand control?

Scott,
You must set your equipment profile in order to connect it manually, not automatically , when Ekos starts. So, when Ekos starts, all equipment drivers will not be connected until you do it mannually. In this step, you can set the camera driver with the rigth sensor parameters. After that, all drivers mast be connected.
Regards.
PD: Sorry for my English.
