I am trying to connect my mount ASA DDM60 to EKOS trought INDI, but i don´t see a driver to do it.
somebody know how to?
Yesterday i did a real scenery to repeat the bug, but the meridian flip and all subrutine went ok.
I can not reproduce again, so its an isolated case.
I upload the test with log file here.
Hello Hy Murveit,
i tried to test with simulator, but i do not reproduce the bug again, here are the log , esq and esl files and some captures from this test. In this case I made a mosaic 2x4 over M31 with 600seg by capture.
Tonight i try again but in a real scenery.
Sorry, the Bug
Hi, i have find a little bug when rise the meridian flip rutine:
Tonight i was capturing a 2x4 mosaic repeating all jobs 5 times, over NGC7000.
At 04:46 hour, start the meridian flip,
2023-07-07T04:37:11 Meridian flip completed.
2023-07-07T04:36:18 Meridian flip running...
2023-07-07T04:36:17 Meridian flip ready to start...
just when finish the last part from mosaic in 3rd iteration like said this log:
2023-07-07T04:36:18 No jobs left in the scheduler queue.
2023-07-07T04:36:17 Job 'NGC7000-Part_8' is complete.
2023-07-07T04:26:09 Job 'NGC7000-Part_8' capture is in progress...
During meridian flips working, the scheduler start the 4 iteration, and display a error from 4 parts:
2023-07-07T04:36:30 Job 'NGC7000-Part_4' is terminated due to errors.
2023-07-07T04:36:30 Warning: job 'NGC7000-Part_4' slew failed, marking terminated due to errors.
2023-07-07T04:36:29 Job 'NGC7000-Part_4' is slewing to target.
2023-07-07T04:36:27 Job 'NGC7000-Part_3' is terminated due to errors.

2023-07-07T04:36:24 Job 'NGC7000-Part_2' is terminated due to errors.

2023-07-07T04:36:23 Job 'NGC7000-Part_2' is slewing to target.
2023-07-07T04:36:21 Job 'NGC7000-Part_1' is terminated due to errors.

2023-07-07T04:36:18 Starting job sequence iteration #4
when meridian flip complete, slew the part5 and start capture procedure:
2023-07-07T04:39:25 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' capture is in progress...
2023-07-07T04:39:25 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' guiding is in progress.
2023-07-07T04:37:48 Starting guiding procedure for NGC7000-Part_5 ...

2023-07-07T04:37:47 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' alignment is complete.
2023-07-07T04:37:11 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' is capturing and plate solving.
2023-07-07T04:37:11 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' slew is complete.
2023-07-07T04:36:32 Job 'NGC7000-Part_5' is slewing to target.
Please, can you check this? maybe can be a possible bug.
Really awesome you development... very quickly and very well.
Now i can search exoplanets, asteroids, variabels stars... with mosaic and scheduler. very usefull!!
someone knoh how can identify the meridian side from my captures?
I have some ideas:
1º) Put on filename the pierside, using the "flexible method to name filenames" did by Jasem.
2º) Create a check button options in ekos configuration -> Captures.
If this check button are checked ,will create a subfolder named "pierside value" to save there the captures. (see image attached)
Hello Mr Jasem, nice to meet you its a honor write with you...
Yes of couerse the pixinsight, maximDL, astroart... can rotate the image automatically, but that's not why i said it.
I think that know en each capture from what meridian was captured could be interesting to find when the mount did the meridian flip.
For example if do you start teh sheduler with a sesion mosaic 8x2 and capture 600 lights from each field cyclically (Field1-Light1, Field2-Light1... Field1-Light2, Field2-Light2...). How can i know when meridian flip ocurred?
The only way I saw its looking for pierside tag in fits headers..
Hi everyone. I have a question, when the mount execute the meridian flip, the image orientation change 180º
Somebody know how can include the pierside in the prefix file? This could be usefull for know from which file you need rotate 180º.
Or there is some way to auto rotate file when meridian flip?
I readed again your message, and i think:
- A simply solution its like you said. A simply repeat until all jobs' constraints are no longer met.
- A more advance solution, could be with a certain amount of repeats, but if set to 0, will repeat for undefined time until all jobs' constraints are no longer met.
Both solutions are able and enougt to solve the problem.
Many Thanks again!!!
I think that could be more pro with a certain amount of repeats, but if set to 0, will repeat for undefined time until all jobs' constraints are no longer met.
Many thanks for answer and give me a quickly workarround
