Just for the record, it works fine on M1, M2.

I didn’t think there was any new code that requires an M chip set. It may just be the compiler set up, and if recompiled for Intel Macs it would work again. Not sure - but I hope this isn’t the end of Intel Mac users. I can’t afford a new computer right now.

Certainly not. I built the dmg on an Intel Mac and it runs fine on my machine. The code currently is running on Rosetta for arm/silicon. My Mac is running Sonoma not Catalina. I would not think that is a problem since it is set to build for an older OS. Do you have any more info about the crash? I have been very busy recently and have not had much time. Was it on startup or running a driver? Can you run KStars from the command line to get a little more info?

Thanks Rob. It crashed upon startup with a message that it was not compatible with my Mac. I will download it again just to make sure it was not corrupt. I’ll experiment tomorrow.

I have the same problem as Peter. It crashes on startup...

Intel based MacOs 12.5

Well, I had downloaded using the link in #98509 and it runs on my M1 Mac Studio (only tested launching, not further testing by connecting ekos drivers).
I've just downloaded again, and the new version still works for me.

Note that I had right-click open twice as the 1st time, it refuses to give me the option to open the app anyway.

Downloaded latest. But my EAF is nowhere to find! Rest equipment is fine. Just please check the ASI drivers again.

Try to create a new profile, that worked for me.
